Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: September 27th Market Report
Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting, and autumn is a mosaic of them all. [Stanley Horowitz]
It's Market Wednesday in Uptown Westerville.
As this early autumn heat wave begins to abate, we are looking at a forecast that will start with a chance of a thunder storm (51%) during market set up, the market starts out more hot and humid than it ends, with temperatures in the mid-to-low 80s (slightly elevated humidity will affect the "feels-like"), partly sunny skies, and a welcome 9 mph breeze.
This week's line-up includes: Bird's Haven Farms, jC's Sweet Ice Tea, Branstool Orchards, Made Without Grain, Pleiades Maple Products, Miss Cristy's Bakery, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Montezuma Sauces and Salsas, The Crazy Cucumber, Kingdom Fish, Fox Hollow Garden, Brown Brothers Farms, Ohio City Pasta, Doran's Family Farm, Hinton Apiaries, and Flying J Farm.
We will not see Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods (Lyle Linerode will return next week).
We may see Malabar Peach and Apple Orchard, Sippel Family Farm/Kokoborrego Cheese Co., and J-Pops.
This week's community partner is Westerville Public Library.
Home grown. Home made. All Ohio. The Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market opens for business each Wednesday, from May through October, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at North State and East Home Streets.
Browse. Visit. Taste. Shop. Enjoy.
We sincerely thank you for your business!!
See you at the market.
