Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: Small Business Saturday

Like any farmers' market in the world, the Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market is, simply stated, a gathering of small businesses (farmers, growers, and food artisans) supported by their customers and communities.

This Saturday, November 24th, is Small Business Saturday across America. Buying local and supporting small businesses (in person and online) has a tremendous impact. According to the National Federation of Independent Business, in 2016, approximately 2.1 million small businesses participated in the event, as did 112 million consumers. More and more, small businesses and consumers are particpating in Shop Small (Small Business Saturday) each year.

As this season of giving, eating, drinking, and merriment approaches, thank you for supporting small business! Thank you for buying local!

Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: Best Thanksgiving Wishes

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. [Melody Beattie]

Best Wishes for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: Community

As you discover what strength you can draw from your community in this world from which it stands apart, look outward as well as inward. Build bridges instead of walls. [Sonia Sotomayor]

The Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market is volunteer-powered and... it really does take a village.

Special thanks go to Church of the Messiah United Methodist, the City of Westerville, the Staff at Amish Originals Furniture Co., Mike Beekman, Gary Gardiner, Westerville Public Library, Westerville Electric Division, Westerville Police Division, Westerville Water Division, Westerville Visitors and Convention Bureau, Tatjana and Jason Brown and the Staff of Meza, and the people who live and work in our community: Westerville, Ohio.

Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: With Gratitude

"Thank you" is the best prayer that anyone could say. I say that one a lot. Thank you expresses extreme gratitude, humility, understanding. [Alice Walker]

We want to take a moment to express our sincerest thanks to the Members and Staff at Church of the Messiah, U.M.

Special shout outs to Gene Hulbert, Phil Pelok, Rose Morgan, Cortney Reed, and Brenda Boyles.

And, thanks to the Staff and Parents and Caregivers of Ourday Preschool.

To all of you, we say, simply, Thank You.

Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: With Appreciation

We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives. [John F. Kennedy]

Thank you for a most auspicious market season.

With appreciation, blessings, and good thoughts to all.
