Weather-wise today, look for temperatures in the mid-70s, normal humidity, a 12 mph breeze, partly sunny skies. and a slight chance of rain.

This week is a Branstool Orchards CSA pick-up week, so some Branstool customers will be walking up to the side of the Branstool truck to pick-up their prepped, pre-paid peach order. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture - both Branstool Orchards and Bird's Haven Farms have CSA pick ups at Market Wednesday. With a CSA, customers subscribe early in the year by pre-paying for shares of the season's harvest.

This week's weather forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, a light breeze, temps in the 70s, and elevated humidity. There is a 51% chance of rain during market set up, and then a slight chance after that.

We may see Mike Dippold of Malabar Peach and Apple Orchard to the Market Wednesday season. Mike intends to come, and may be called away due to a family health issue. Because we are early-on in a late-ripening peach season, if we do see Mike, he may have a limited supply. We will not see Hinton Apiaries for this week. Jerry will be back on August 8th.

Kingdom Fish will not be at market this week. We are rolling week-to-week for the time being. They've had some unexpected technical issues on the farm that they've been tending to.

Original Post: Today, we welcome Mike Dippold of Malabar Peach and Apple Orchard to the Market Wednesday season. This is Mike's first week with peaches, so he may have a limited supply. Branstool Orchards plans to begin bringing peaches to market in August. We will keep you posted.

We will not see Hinton Apiaries for the next two weeks. Jerry will be back on August 8th.

Kingdom Fish will not be at market this week, and we should see them next week. They've had some unexpected technical issues on the farm that they've been tending to.

Market Wednesday will be closed on July 4th.

This year, July 4th is on a Wednesday. We considered it carefully (thought about a possible morning special hours market) and decided not to open for business on Independence Day. 

So, there will be no market hours on July 4th, and we will see you at the market on July 11th!
