Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: August 1st Market Report
If it's a summer's Wednesday, it must be a farm fresh day in Uptown Westerville
This week's weather forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, a light breeze, temps in the 70s, and elevated humidity. There is a 51% chance of rain during market set up, and then a slight chance after that.
Today's vendor line-up includes: J-Pops, Ohio City Pasta, Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Doran's Family Farm, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farms, Made Without Grain, Pleiades Maple, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Montezuma Sauces and Salsas, The Crazy Cucumber, Hummavore, Ohio Farm Direct, jC's Sweet Ice Tea, Brown Brothers Farms.
We may see Mike Dippold of Malabar Peach and Apple Orchard to the Market Wednesday season. Mike intends to come, and may be called away due to a family health issue. Because we are early-on in a late-ripening peach season, if we do see Mike, he may have a limited supply. Please note - Malabar Peach and Apple is the only Market Wednesday vendor that does not take debit/credit cards - he's cash or check only.
We will not see Hinton Apiaries for this week. Jerry will be back on August 8th.
Kingdom Fish will not be at market this week. We are rolling week-to-week for the time being. They've had some unexpected technical issues on the farm that they've been tending to.
Home grown. Home made. All Ohio. The Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market opens for business each Wednesday, from May through October, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at North State and East Home Streets.
Browse. Visit. Taste. Shop. Enjoy.
Thanks for your business!
See you at the market.
