Uptown Westerville Farrmers' Market: August 14th Market Report

It's a good day for a good day and it's a farm fresh Wednesday in Uptown Westerville.

This week's forecast is offering up a pretty nice weather day, with temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s, a light breeze, partly cloudy skies, only slightly elevated humidity. and a 7% chance of precip.

Today's vendor line-up includes: Montezuma Brand Sauces and Salsas, Kingdom Fish, Kingdom Farms, Ohio Farm Direct, Java Central, Ohio City Pasta, Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Doran's Farm Market, Hinton Apiaries, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farms, Made Without Grain, and Sweet Thing Gourmet.

Traffic report: The State Street 'Plane and Overlay' project is still going on between Lee Terrace and Walnut, but winding down - the road surface is now level and newly paved, looks like there is still some lane painting left to do. And, the 'Uptown Improvements' project (and Columbia Gas project) works continue. The space in front of Hanby School is mostly complete - a crew will eventually replace the brick - as they had to use placeholder brick due to a shipping error. Traffic is maintained for these projects, so look for "lane redefinition" via orange cones, road surface grade changes, steel plates, construction activity (people and equipment on the move), and slower speeds.
