Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: August 21st Market Report
Wednesday in Uptown Westerville in the summer? Must be a farm fresh day!
The weather forecast is serving up a hot, humid, mostly cloudy summer afternoon, with temperatures in the mid-to-high 80s, humidity and a breeze. And, yes, there is a 51% chance of rain between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
We welcome Branstool Orchards to the 2019 Market Wednesday season.
Today's vendor line-up includes: Kingdom Fish, Kingdom Farms, Ohio Farm Direct, Ohio City Pasta, Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Doran's Farm Market, Hinton Apiaries, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farms, Branstool Orchards, Made Without Grain, Sweet Thing Gourmet, and Montezuma Brand Sauces and Salsas.
We will not see Java Central this week.
This week's community partners are Westerville Electric Division/Westerville Water Division.
Traffic report: The State Street 'Plane and Overlay' project seems to be winding down. And, the 'Uptown Improvements' project (and Columbia Gas project) works continue - there are steel plates in the northbound and turn lanes near Hanby School. Traffic is maintained for these projects, so look for "lane redefinition" via orange cones, road surface grade changes, steel plates, construction activity (people and equipment on the move), and slower speeds. For the updated low-down on construction around town: check out GoWesterville. https://westerville.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Shortlist/index.html?appid=37b3f438706b4f989d515d82ac0d18c4
