Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: August 3rd Market Report
It was one of those humid days when the atmosphere gets confused. Sitting on the porch, you could feel it: the air wishing it was water. [Jeffrey Eugenides]
Welcome to the first Market Wednesday of August.
Today's weather forecast? As it was yesterday... so it is today. The humid air continues to invade our personal space! So, a beautiful day ahead, but it's August, and it will be hot and feel hotter. Fingers crossed for the consistent 5 mph calm wind in the forecast. Still a great day to put on your best summer-cool and pick up a little farm fresh.
Today's vendor line-up includes: Branstool Orchards, The Blueberry Patch, Miss Cristy's Bakery, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Montezuma Sauces and Salsas, Sugar B Bakery, Sippel Family Farm/Kokoborrego Cheese Co., Fox Hollow Garden, J-Pops. Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Doran's Family Farm, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farms.
We hope to see Annabelle's Blooms, 8 Sisters Bakery, and Malabar Peach and Apple Orchard. (We will update on facebook as we get confirmations.)
This week's community partner is Westerville Senior Center.
We will not see Fox Hollow Farm, Hinton Apiaries (Jerry is representing the Ohio State Beekeepers Association at the Ohio State Fair today) and Pleiades Maple.
Just a note on The Blueberry Patch - it looks like next week will be the last week we will see The Bluberry Patch this season.
Home grown. Home made. All Ohio. Each Wednesday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (through October 26th) @ N. State and E. Home Streets in Uptown Westerville.
Browse. Visit. Taste. Shop. Enjoy. Market Wednesday.
Thanks for giving us the business! See you at the market.
