Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: August 28th Market Report


It's going to be a warm, muggy August afternoon - sounds inviting doesn't it?!! It's still a great day to pick up your locally-grown and locally-made market fare.

Home-grown. Home-made. All Ohio. It's Market Wednesday in Uptown Westerville. 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the corner of N.State & E. Home.

Today's market line-up: Bridgman Farm, Hartzler Family Dairy, Doran's Family Farm, Ohio Farm Direct, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farm, Fox Hollow Farm, Branstool Orchards, Northridge Organic Farm, Blue Jacket Dairy, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Chuck Evans' Montezuma Brand Salsas and Sauces, Annabelle's Blooms, and Malabar Peach and Apple Orchard.

Produce selection includes sweet corn, melons, tomatoes, squash, peppers, potatoes, eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, garlic, kale, onions, peaches, and apples.

Northridge Organic Farm, Branstool Orchards, Bird's Haven Farms, Blue Jacket Dairy, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Chuck Evans' Montezuma Brand Salsas and Sauces, and Hartzler Family Dairy all accept major bank debit and credit cards.

We do have some vendors on the sidelines this week - Pleiades Maple Products will be out this week - Eddie Lou Meimer is at the Morrow County Fair. Dana Lee's and Sugar B Bakery are both out this week. Both bakers tell us they will be at Saturday markets - Dana Lee's at Worthington and Sugar B at Worthington and Powell.
