Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: Weather Outlook for September 5th.

The breezes taste / Of apple peel. / The air is full / Of smells to feel- / Ripe fruit, old footballs, / Burning brush, / New books, erasers, / Chalk, and such./ The bee, his hive, / Well-honeyed hum, / And Mother cuts / Chrysanthemums. / Like plates washed clean / With suds, the days / Are polished with / A morning haze. [John Updike, September]

We greet a farm fresh September Wednesday in Uptown Westerville.

Dress cool. Be cool. The forecast calls for a hot, mostly sunny day, with temperatures in the low-90s/high 80s (add about 10 degrees for the feels-like), elevated humidity, a touch of a breeze now and then, and a 43% chance of rain between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Home grown. Home made. All Ohio. The Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market opens for business each Wednesday, from May through October, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at North State and East Home Streets.

See you at the market.
