Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: September 28th Market Report

I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. [Maya Angelou]

It's a farm fresh Wednesday in Uptown Westerville!

Today, we move from the sunny, humid days of summer to the cool, cloudy skies of fall. Even though the forecast keeps improving, this may end up being a "puddle-jumper" market with occasional periods of rain.
Showers in the forecast for market hours (currently... 53% chance of rain for market set up, a 49% chance of rain from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and a 65% chance of rain from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.), cooler, pleasant temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s, cloudy, and a breeze.

Market Wednesday is a shower or shine market, and all vendors are under-cover, so we hope you'll pack your umbrella, gollashes, or slicker, and come on by!

This week's vendor line-up includes: Fox Hollow Garden, J-Pops, Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Hinton Apiaries, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farms, Branstool Orchards, Pleiades Maple Products, Miss Cristy's Bakery, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Montezuma Sauces and Salsas, Sugar B Bakery, and Sippel Family Farm/Kokoborrego Cheese Co.

We will not see Annabelle's Blooms today.

This week's community partner is Westerville Public Library.

Home grown. Home made. All Ohio. 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. each Wednesday through October 26th @ N. State and E. Home Streets in Uptown Westerville.

Browse. Visit. Taste. Shop. Enjoy. Market Wednesday.

Thank you for your continuing support. See you at the market.

Ah, September! You are the doorway to the season that awakens my soul... but I must confess that I love you only because you are a prelude to my beloved October. [Peggy Toney Horton]

This weeks vendor line-up includes: Sippel Family Farm/Kokoborrego Cheese Co., Fox Hollow Garden, J-Pops, Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farms, Branstool Orchards, Pleiades Maple Products, Miss Cristy's Bakery, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Montezuma Sauces and Salsas, and Sugar B Bakery.

We will not see Hinton Apiaries this week - Jerry is at the Farm Science Review this week.

Doran's Family Farm's 2016 market season has come to an end - we thank the Doran family for a great market season and we'll see them next year!

This week's community partner is Westerville Electric and Water Divisions.

Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: September 14th Market Report

My favorite poem is the one that starts "Thirty days hath September" because it actually tells you something. [Groucho Marx]

It's Market Wednesday in Uptown Westerville!

Weather forecasts call for a partly cloudy skies, elevated humidity, temperatures in the mid-to-high 70s, and a breeze.

This week's Vendor Line-up includes: Sugar B Bakery, Sippel Family Farm/Kokoborrego Cheese Co., Fox Hollow Garden, J-Pops, Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Doran's Family Farm, Hinton Apiaries, Flying J Farm, Bird's Haven Farms, Branstool Orchards, Pleiades Maple Products, Miss Cristy's Bakery, Sweet Thing Gourmet, and Montezuma Sauces and Salsas.

We will not see Annabelle's Blooms this week. Life happens. Nature happens. Farming happens. Anna's dahlias struggled and her zinnias sustained wind damage, so we may not see Anna until October.
