Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: Memorial Day Weekend 2016

A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. [Joseph Campbell]

Memorial Day Weekend is a time to remember, reflect and honor, and a time to welcome the beginning of summer. This weekend, we live with gratitude and gather together, with friends and family, for the sake of pure enjoyment and celebration... because we can.

Thursday, May 26th:

> Party at the Creek, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. @ Alum Creek Park North, 221 W. Main.

Local nature and environmental groups will be on hand. Dive into kid-friendly activities, boater safety demonstrations, canoeing, food, and entertainment. Pack a basket or cooler to picnic at the shelter house or on the lawn in the park's family  area.

Drop-off containers for recycling eyeglasses and cell phones (make sure personal info/data is removed!) will be available on site, as well as a bin to place retired American flags.
