Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: August 19th Market Report
It's Market Wednesday in Uptown Westerville! We expect to see a beautiful, hot and humid, typical August afternoon today. And, we are hoping those southwestern breezes in the forecast are consistent!
Browse. Visit. Taste. Shop. Enjoy.
Today's vendor line-up: Bird's Haven Farms, Fox Hollow Farms, Branstool Orchards, The Blueberry Patch, Miss Cristy's Bakery, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Montezuma Sauces and Salsas, Sugar B Bakery, Kokoborrego Cheese Co./Sippel Family Farm, Annabelle's Blooms, J-Pops, Bridgman Farm, Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods, Doran's Family Farm, Ohio Farm Direct, Flying J Farm.
This week's community partner is Westerville Electric Division.
Pleiades Maple Products will not be at market today due to outside temperatures (90° or more too hot for maple syrup and sugar products).
Malabar Peach and Apple Orchard is an outside possibility today. We aren't expecting Mike, but have a place for him just in case.
What can you find on Market Wednesday this week? Delicious, grown under the Ohio sun in rich Ohio soil - fresh-picked produce including sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, onions, kale, blueberries, cucumbers, squash varieties, peaches, melons, and apples, cheese (sheep's milk and cow's milk), pie (that's right, we said pie!), empanadas, tartlettes, fresh-baked bread and bagels, cookies, coffee breads, moon pies, fruit ice pops in fabulous flavors, meats and poultry, and fresh eggs.
Stay cool, today!
Each Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. @ N. State and E. Home through October 28th.
See you at the market!
