Apples from Branstool Orchards
A full moon and an early morning lunar eclipse welcome a day with clear skies, sunshine, and autumn breezes - must be Market Wednesday in Uptown Westerville.
Home grown. Home made. All Ohio. The Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market is open for business each Wednesday 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. @ N. State and E. Home through October 29th.
Today's weather forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-to-low-60s, mostly sunny skies, low humidity, and westerly breezes up to 16 mph. Sounds like a great day to visit a farmers' market!
This week's vendor line-up includes: Montezuma Sauces & Salsas, Sweet Thing Gourmet, Dan the Baker, Pleiades Maple Products, Swainway Urban Farm, Branstool Orchards, Fox Hollow Farm, Bird's Haven Farm, Flyng J Farm, Ohio Farm Direct, Lona Belle's, Annabelle's Blooms, Blue Jacket Dairy, Sugar B Bakery.
This week's community partner is Westerville Police Division.
We heard from Mary Bridgman from Bridgman Farm and the Bridgman Farm 2014 season has now come to an end. Thanks to Mary and Shannon Fisher for bringing such beautiful produce to market from Fayette County.
Stock up on cookies and confections - this week will be Lona Belle's Home Baked Goods last week of the 2014 Market Wednesday season. Lyle Linerode of Lona Belle's joined the market in September and we look forward to seeing Lyle next season.
Each week, Meza Wine Shop, 48 N. State (just south of the Market in Uptown Westerville), features a specially-priced Market Wednesday cocktail - usually a delicious sangria - during market hours. Stop by, see what's new, or if you've never visited Meza, stop by and introduce yourself!
Visit. Browse. Taste. Shop. Enjoy.
See you at the market!
