We have one word - peaches! This Market Wednesday both Branstool Orchards and Malabar Peach & Apple Orchard will be at the market.

The "feels like" temperature today is 100!  So even with a slight breeze, it'll be a good day to shop efficiently! (And, visit the air conditioned Uptown shops and restaurants!)

We will not see Pleiades Maple, Dana Lee's, and Arjay Gourmet (Rohini's Chutneys) today.

Today's market also welcomes Chris Schimpf of Eyestone Flower Farm with organic, cut lilies today. (We'll see Chris' beautiful sunflowers later in the season.)

Stay cool.

See you at the market.

Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: July 6th Market Report

A sunny afternoon in Uptown Westerville. Temps in the mid-to-high 80s and a touch of humidity with a dash of a light breeze. A good afternoon for al fresco shopping at the Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market!

As our farmer's move forward from a very soggy spring, we are starting to see more and more fresh produce at the market.

Z Blueberry will make a special appearance this week with more chemical-free, fresh-picked blueberries from Fredericktown.

We will not see Pleiades Maple Products, Doran's Family Farm, and Chef John Skaggs this week.

Tatjana Brown of Meza offers wine pairing suggestions for Sweet Thing Gourmet jams today.  Stop by Meza, 48 N. State, for the Meza Market Wednesday $1 wine tasting.

Crime Prevention Officer Carrie Ryan with Westerville Police Division will be making an appearance at today's market.

By the way, mark your calendars for the 38th annual Westerville Chamber of Commerce Music and Arts Festival, July 9th (11 a to 7 p) and July 10th (11 a to 5 p) at Heritage Park, 60 N. Cleveland.  Art, live music, food, and a great youth art display - a family fun Westerville tradition.

See you at the market!
