Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: Bridgman Farm

Mary Bridgman of Bridgman Farm (Washington Court House) brings beautiful produce to market each season including heirloom tomatoes,  cherry tomatoes (sun-kissed sweet), Aunt Molly's ground tomatoes (gotta try a sample when they come to market this summer!), peppers, eggplant, onions, melons, and pumpkins.

Mary is looking forward to tomorrow's season opener and is bringing some great options for gardeners. Mary tells us, "I'll have a huge selection of gorgeous heirloom, hybrid and cherry tomato plants, along with summer squash, lettuce and cucumber plants. I'll also have lots of herb plants and sunflower and giant zinnia starts in a rainbow of colors."

Mary feels a true connection to Westerville as a community, she's a retired reporter for the Columbus Dispatch and covered the Westerville city government and city schools beat for years, gaining a special affection for our community in the process.

Stop by Bridgman Farm each week on Market Wednesday.
