Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: A New Market Wednesday Season!

It's 2010, we've had a long winter and a beautiful spring, and it's now market season!

The Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market 2010 Season begins Wednesday, May 5th at 3 p.m.

The Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market opens each Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at N. State and E. Home Streets.

Rev. Stan Ling of Church of the Messiah, UM will bless the market season at 2:45 p.m.

We have a new logo: The logo with the ginkgo leaf represents the market seasons from spring to fall and Uptown Westerville. Besides the big, beautiful ginkgo tree at City Hall, State Street is lined with young ginkgo trees. The ginkgo tree is an ancient tree that represents resilience, longevity, prosperity, wisdom, hope, and peace. We couldn't think of a better symbol for the community or the market.

You'll see some new signage and features throughout the season.

Many of your Market Wednesday favorite vendors are returning and we've got a couple new vendors, too.

To learn more, visit the new Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market web site at: http://www.marketwednesday.com/

See you at the market!
