Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market: August 5th Market Report

While it may be cloudy, weather reports so far indicate a good day to visit the Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market!

Sue Renner of Sue's Kitchen
, along with her cookie stacks and coffee breads, will be bringing pies, including mini blueberry pies and a big hit last week -- Blueberry Crumb Bars. Visit Sue's charming blog: fromsueskitchen.blogspot.com!

Jane Varley of Varley Valley
will be bringing her delicous, fresh-baked breads along with a wide selection of jams and jellies.

Doran's Family Farm
will, of course, have sweet corn. And, since few to no Ohio peaches available anywhere this year due to a freeze, to answer customer requests, Doran's will be bringing a small selection of peaches from a Pennsylvania orchard.

Krista Wagner of Nature's Honey
soaps will bring her usual selection of smell-good-and-clean and is featuring her popular Honey Almond Oatmeal soap.

Pleiades Maple Products
will not be attending today's market... Pleiades Farm is makin' hay!

We encourage you to Shop Uptown Westerville when you visit the market each Wednesday. Meza, 48 N. State, features a $1 Wednesday Wine Tasting along with pantry compliments to your market purchases. What's for dinner tonight from soup to nuts, and the wine that goes with them, is in Uptown Westerville.
